Allison Lynn Byer

Allison Lynn Byer of Douglass, Kansas, daughter of the late Glenn and DeeAnne Byer, passed away at age 62 on December 21, 2022. Allison is survived by her three children, Tyler Towne (wife Sara) of Panama City, FL, Boston Stiverson (wife Maggie)of Kansas City, MO, and Brae Stiverson of Wichita, KS; three grandchildren, Oliver Towne, Eleanor Towne, and Charlotte Stiverson; her partner Mitch Milam; four siblings Larry (Deb) Byer, Chris (Kent) Webber, Brenda Stubby, and Darin (Jaime) Byer; many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

A graduate of Kapaun Mt. Carmel high school in Wichita, Allison studied at Wichita State University and obtained an associates degree. She worked most of her career at the PepsiCo Wichita Bottling plant as a logistics coordinator before retiring in the spring of 2020. Her true passion was golfing and spending time outdoors with her many friends and beloved family. She loved spending her holidays and personal time with her children and grandchildren. During retirement, she enjoyed her time volunteering at the Douglass Senior Center with her partner, Mitch Milam. Allison was known for her quick wit, humor, and unwavering commitment to her family. She was a light to all around her and she will be missed dearly.
