Angeline C. Montalto

Angeline C. (Rizzo) Montalto, 90, passed away April 30, 2015. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 am Thursday, May 7, at St. Marks Catholic Church, 3736 S. Lees Summit Road, Independence, MO. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Catholic Charities. Angie was born June 19, 1924, in Kansas City, MO, to Pasquale and Josephine Rizzo. She was the secretary for 23 years at Our Lady of Lourdes School in Raytown, MO. Angie was kind and caring, always concerned about others before herself, and a mother to all who knew her. Angie is survived by her children A.J. Montalto (Karen), Patricia Kresin (Steve), and Mike Montalto; grandchildren Lisa Kresin and Kyle and Kevin Montalto; and nephews Pat and Matt Rizzo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Angelo Montalto, and brother Matthew Rizzo.
