Anthony "Tony" Christian Raw

Anthony "Tony" Christian Raw, 45, of Raytown, MO passed away on January 31, 2024. A Graveside service will be held on February 7, 2024 at 2:00pm at Memorial Park Cemetery & Green Lawn Cemetery, 8251 Hillcrest Rd., Kansas City, MO 64138.

Anthony was born on January 25, 1979 to Cynthia Slater in Kansas City, MO. He loved his job as a Hard Scaper, working with stone was a passion of his. He was extremely proud of his Irish heratige and loved being in the outdoors and could often be found fishing on Truman Lake. He was proud of the biggest fish he caught which was a 60 lb catfish. He spent about 2 and a half hours trying to reel it in, eventually succeeding after a long fight with the fish. Anthony was also a very generous person, always wanting to help people and putting others first before himself. He was a true blessing to his family and will be deeply missed.

Anthony was preceded in death by his grandparents, Betty & Henry "Hank" Raw; and uncle Edward Stanton Raw. He is survived by his mother, Cynthia Slater; step-father, Steven Slater; brother, Joseph Darul; sister, Stephanie Horak; cousins, Angel Love (Raw), Dustin Raw, and Crystal Wilson; and nieces, Angelica Flowers, and Lily Darul.
