Bernice A. Jury

BERNICE A. JURY , 93 passed away at home on March 13, 2016 with her family at her bedside. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Anthonys Catholic Church in Steinauer, NE at 11 am on April 2, 2016. Bernice was born on August 29, 1922 in Burchard, NE. She lived in Nebraska until 1973. She had since resided in Kansas City North the past 43 years. Bernice enjoyed traveling to visit her children and grandchildren, she was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Church, a Lady of the Knight of Columbus, Altar Society and worked in the Food Kitchen. Bernice was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Norman, her son Michael, two daughters, Patty and Judy, her parents Emil and Julianna, stepmother Agnes, her brothers, Francis and Jerome, and her two sisters, Esther and Audrey. She is survived by her children; Emilie A. Martz of Springfield, MO; Jacqueline F. Jury of Seattle, WA; Deborah L. Jury of Los Angeles, CA; Ronald D. Jury and his wife Sarah of Kansas City, MO; Donald G. Jury and his wife Cathy of Kirkland, WA; Stephen L. Jury and his wife Patti of Scottsdale, AZ; and Mary E. Sprague of Kansas City, MO; and her sister Marcellin Little, her brothers Emmett Kalin and his wife Deloris, Omer Kalin and his wife Oliva and 25 Grandchildren; 30 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great, Great Grandchild. In Lieu of Flowers, Bernice requested donations be made to the Catholic Diocese of Kansas City/St. Joseph, 20 W. 9th, Kansas City, Mo. 64113.
