Caren J. Smith

Caren J. Smith, age 54, of Kansas City, MO passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at KU Med Center. She is survived by her husband, Tom Smith; daughter, Amanda Ottolini; mother, Charlene A. Klebenstone; Sisters; Cathy (Tim) McIntosh, Cindy (Jim) McCart, Brothers; James (Sandi) Klebenstone Jr., Joe (Debbie) Klebenstone. Caren was preceded in death by her father, James A. Klebenstone and her sister, Connie Gonzalez.

Caren Klebenstone Smith is a beloved mother, daughter, friend and dog lover who will be dearly missed. She is an avid Royals fan and long time season ticket hold to the Kansas City Chiefs. Everywhere Caren goes, her bright smile, humble demeanor, and contagious sense of humor brightens the dullest of rooms. Her 'lets get the party started' spirit will never be forgotten but will be forever missed.

Visitation will be held at Muehlebach Funeral Care, 6800 Troost Avenue, KCMO on Sunday, April 12 from 5 to 7 p.m. with the Rosary at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church on Monday, April 13, 2015 with burial at Mt.
