Carol Louise Lynn

Carol Cotton Lynn, 91, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away peacefully December 5th, 2024. A visitation will be held Wednesday, December 11th at 10:00 a.m. followed by Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, 2 E. 75th Street, Kansas City, Missouri.

Carol was born in Washington, D.C. on March 27, 1933, to Forrest and Marie LeGrand Cotton. Carol was a teacher for over 40 years at St. Elizabeth School and inducted into the school’s Hall of Fame.

Carol was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John in 1997, her brother, Jack and sister, Jean.

She is survived by her five children: Peggy Doran (Matt); Tom Lynn (Jolene); Julie Francis (Ed); Denny Lynn (Malee); and Paul Lynn. She leaves her grandchildren: Matthew, Patrick and Stephen Lynn; Andrew, Ryan and Emily Francis; Connor and Kate Lynn; Johnathan Lynn; four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Elizabeth Heritage Fund or St Luke’s Hospice.
