Carolyn Schroer

Carolyn Schroer, 76, of Overland Park, KS, passed away November 10, 2014. The rosary will be prayed Friday, November 14 at 11:30 a.m. followed by the visitation until 1:00 p.m. at St. Thomas More Parish, 11822 Holmes Rd., KCMO. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the church. Burial service will be private at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Carolyn Schroer was born November 4, 1938 to Earl and Annabelle Staats. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and sister. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Karl Schroer II, a son, James Schroer, and a brother, Dick Staats. She leaves behind her son, Joe Schroer, daughters; Kim Wernel, Teresa Gomen, Jamie Kramer and Debbie Atchley, fifteen grandchildren, a brother Robert Staats, and numerous nieces and nephews.
