Cleta M. Gregg, 101, of Lees Summit, MO and formerly of St. Louis, MO, died Saturday, February 25, 2017, at John Knox Village Care Center in Lees Summit, MO. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be at Our Lady of Presentation Church, Lees Summit, MO, at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 2, 2017. Friends may call at the church prior to Mass from 10 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Pink Sisters at Mt. Grace Convent, 1438 E. Warne Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63107 or John Knox Village Hospice, 400 NW Murray Rd., Lees Summit, MO 64081. Cleta was born January 15, 1916 in St. Louis, MO to Herman Joseph Tranel and Rubina (Ruby) Rupp Tranel. Cleta was preceded in death by her parents, her husband George D. Gregg in 2003 and her sister, Aletta Grote in 2002. She is survived by her son, Bruce T. Gregg and his wife Alice (Cookie), grandson, Ron Gregg and wife, Dr. Michelle Dew, granddaughter Kim Toigo and husband Joe, and great grandchildren, Giffin Gregg, Truman Gregg and Mia Toigo, all of Kansas City, MO, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Donald and Diane Gregg of St. Louis, MO.
