Cozette Marion Hatten, 90, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2015, at her home in Overland Park.Born Friday, March 13, 1925 in Kansas City, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late Truman Dewey and the late Ethel Pollard Dewey. She was the wife of the late Basil Hatten.Surviving are her brother, Everette Dewey of Kansas City, MO, sister, Blanche Mayberry of Overland Park, KS, along with 2 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.She was predeceased by her daughter, Irma Staples, and her brothers, Lloyd Dewey and Truman Dewey.A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday at Muehlebach Funeral Home located at 6800 Troost Ave Kansas City, Missouri 64131 with Pastor Jody Matthews officiating. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Kansas City, MO.The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 17, 2015, at Muehlebach Funeral Home, 6800 Troost Ave, Kansas City, Missouri.
