Dolores Anna (Pereira) Sison, age 82, formerly from Dededo, Guam and resided in Knob Noster, Missouri passed away peacefully on July 25, 2022, at Research Medical Center, Kansas City, Missouri.
Dolores was born September 3, 1939, in Wailuku, Maui (Hawaii) to Eliseo (Fontes) Pereira and Belinda (Teixeira) Pereira. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Tomas (Barroga) Sison, sisters, Lucita (Pereira) Rustis and Deleonna Mary (Pereira) Jackson, brother, Eliseo Victor Pereira. Brother-in-law, Raymond Hammons.
She is survived by her four children, son, Ronald Pereira of Oak Point, Texas (Grandchildren-Kinney, Travis, Kiana, Jackie), daughters, Theresa Pereira Sison of Dededo, Guam, Catherine Pereira (Sison) Beck and husband Michael Beck of Knob Noster, Missouri (Grandchildren-Aaron, Justin, Darin) and Michelle Pereira Sison of San Antonio, Texas. Siblings, Daniel Pereira, and wife Barbara of Cedar Creek, Texas and Diana Pereira Hammons of Derby, Kansas. She is additionally survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren.
Dolores spent her childhood and young adult years growing up in Hawaii and Guam. In 2013, she relocated to Knob Noster, Missouri to be closer to family and relatives in the United States. Dolores loved her family very dearly and enjoyed spending time with them. Additionally, she loved collecting angel figurines, playing bingo at the VFW in Knob Noster, religiously watching WWE wrestling and the Kansas City Royals. She always had a contagious smile that left an impression on people she barely knew.
A private family viewing and memorial will be held on Sunday, July 31, 2022, at Muehlebach Funeral Care in Kansas City, MO.
Dolores’ final resting place and memorial services with immediate family will be held on Guam on a later date.
