Dolores M. Fries

Dolores "Dee" Fries, 92, of Kansas City, MO, passed away on Sunday, March 1st. A rosary will be prayed on Friday, March 6th at 9:30 am, followed by visitation from 10 to 11 am at St. Elizabeth Church, 75th and Main, Kansas City, MO. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family suggests memorial donations to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, American Diabetes Foundation, or Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care.
Dee was born in Kansas City, MO on August 14, 1927 to Joseph and Pauline Maurer. She graduated from Bishop Hogan High School in 1945. Dee worked for 30 years in real estate starting with Hardin Stockton in 1962 and retired from J.D. Reece in 1992. She belonged to Executive Women International, Siena Club, St. Elizabeth Friendship club, volunteered at St. Joseph Hospital and for many years was quite active in her church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and son Michael. She is survived by four children: John Fries (Lisa) of Lees Summit, Paula Ising (John) of Overland Park, Tom Fries of Kansas City, and Steve Fries of Olathe, a daughter in law, Diane, 14 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
