Dominic Vargas

Dominic Vargas, 11, passed away February 1, 2015, surrounded by his family. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, February 4 with the Rosary at 7:30 p.m. at Redemptorist Church 3333 Broadway, Kansas City, MO. Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:00pm Thursday at Redemptorist. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations to KC Care for Kids Walk c/o Children?s Mercy Hospital or Light the Night Walk.

Dominic was born April 15, 2003 to Joshua Meneses and Rachelle Vargas. He was in the fifth grade at Our Lady of Angels Catholic School in Westport. He is survived by his parents, brothers, Ruben Vargas and Jacob Meneses, grandparents, Randal and Karen Vargas and Mario and Rachel Meneses, aunts and uncles; Joseph, Sherry, Nicholas, Justin and Dustin Vargas, Michael Cooley, Jason Meneses, Vincent, Salvador, and Philip Lopez, Stephanie Armes, Andrew and Yolanda Blancarte, as well as cousins; Damian, Nicholas, Jaeden, Valencia, Tatianna and Ezra. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Katheen Neville, Dr. Jignesh Dalal & the Nursing Staff at Children?s Mercy for all their love, care & support.
