Dorothy Marie Mattucks

Dorothy M. Mattucks, 93, passed away April 13, 2025 in Kansas City, Missouri. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 15th at 9:00 a.m. at Christ the King Church, 85th and Wornall Road, Kansas City, Missouri. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 am. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke’s Hospice House.

Dorothy was born on October 20, 1931 in Jefferson City, Missouri to Theodore and Mildred Struttman. Dorothy met Hank Mattucks in Kansas City where they married and enjoyed 64 wonderful years together.

Dorothy was co-owner of Hank’s Auto Repair, loved traveling the world with Hank, painting ceramics, and participating in water aerobics. She was an avid volunteer at her church and Meals on Wheels for many years.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Hank, a son, Larry Ray Mattucks, and one brother. Survivors include children Ted Mattucks of Kansas City, Missouri, Denise Lakey of Houston, Texas, Bob Mattucks and wife Susan of Oak Grove, Missouri, Jeff Mattucks and wife Liz, 8 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 5 step great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
