Douglas Thomas Ammon

Douglas Thomas Ammon, 77, passed away January 30, 2022. Doug was born October 7, 1944 in Kansas City, MO to Ed and Erma (Watkins) Ammon. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ed and Dennis Ammon. Survivors include his wife, Lynda Ammon; daughter Christine, son Edwin, daughter and son in law, Courtney and Walter Bratkiv; grandchildren, Devin and Alynn Bratkiv.
Doug was a friendly, fun-loving, life- long Kansas City native with a love for fishing, the Kansas City Chiefs and his wifes cooking. He had a special knack for telling stories with a whopper of a punch line.
Doug worked many years in the construction industry. He was recognized by many Kansas City leaders for his companys significant quality contribution to the KC construction industry.
Per Dougs request, his immediate family will be having a private celebration of life, who all loved him and will miss him very much.
