Elizabeth "Betty" A. Price

Elizabeth “Betty” Ann Price, 88, of Leawood, KS passed at Aberdeen Village on July 9, 2023.  Betty was born January 20, 1935, in Kansas City, MO to Henry and Elizabeth “Betty” (Goelz) Saller.

Betty graduated from Southeast High School.  She earned an associate degree from Kansas City Junior College.  She was a secretary for Natkin & Co. mechanical contractors.  After raising her children, she worked at Avila University in the school of nursing as a media specialist and resource person.

Betty was a long-time member and an elder of the Kirk of Kansas City where she sang in the choir for many years.  She taught Sunday School for children and was active on various committees including Presbyterian Woman.

Preceding her in death were her parents: Henry and Elizabeth Saller and her brother, George as well as nieces and nephews.

Survivors include her husband Douglas J. Price, daughter Beth (Doug) Houdek, son Kevin (Jenn) Price and grandchildren Coleton Houdek, Emily and Ava Price plus many nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services for Betty will be held at the Kirk of Kansas City, 11430 Wornall Road, Kansas City, MO at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 15^th.  Visitation will precede the service at 9:00 a.m.

Burial at Memorial Park Cemetery.
