Floyd Wiesner, 73, passed away on September 3, 2018 at his home in Kansas City. Visitation will be held on Thursday, Sept. 6 from 6 to 8 p.m. followed by a funeral service on Friday at 10 a.m. at Muehlebach Funeral Care, 6800 Troost, KCMO. Burial will take place in Forest Hill Cemetery. He was born in Kansas City, MO on October 21, 1944 to Florian and Florence (Witte) Wiesner. Floyd was the last news vendor selling the Kansas City Star and Times in the downtown district from 1966 to 2003. He also served 4 years as Kansas City Star Distribution Representative. Floyd was an avid bowler and bowled at Allens Bowl from 1966 to 1987 and was league president for 4 years. In 1966 he married Connie Wurtz at Calvary Temple. He attended Calvary Temple and Northeast Assembly of God. He leaves his wife, Connie and their three children; Floyd William Wiesner, Gloria Ann Ryan and husband Sean Patrick, Rhonda Sue Green and husband Robert. He also leaves three grandchildren; Patrick Ryan, Conor Ryan and Elizabeth Ryan.
