Gino J. D'Orazio

Gino J. D'Orazio, 85, passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2016. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 10th at St. Matthews the Apostle Church, 8001 Longview Road, Kansas City, Missouri. Inurnment with military honors will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family would like memorial contributions made to the Crossroads Hospice or the Alzheimers Association.Gino was born on Monday, June 9, 1930 in Bronx, New York to Nicola & Anna D'Orazio. He married Helen "Jeannie" Touhey on Saturday, July 11, 1953. Gino served in the US Navy and retired from General Motors. He is survived by his daughter, Gina D'Orazio; son, Patrick D'Orazio and wife Sheli; son-in-law, James Stabler; grandchildren, Chad Thorington and wife Crystal, Ali D'Orazio and Zack D'Orazio. Gino was preceded in death by his wife, Helen "Jeannie"; daughter, Denise Janine Stabler; son, James Patrick D'Orazio; his parents and a sister, Clare Miller.
