Grace Yolanda Groetzinger

Grace (Gracie) Groetzinger, 88, of Prairie Village, KS passed away peacefully on September 11, 2024. Born in Pittsburgh, PA to Anthony and Grace Satariano.

After a rewarding career with Trans World Airlines (TWA), where she enjoyed traveling the globe, Grace transitioned to a fulfilling second career in the fragrance industry with Paul Sebastian. She cherished the opportunity to work alongside her brother Tony and her daughter Sherri.

Grace is survived by her daughter Sherri Burke (Tim), grandson Tim, Jr. (Kasey), and great-grandchildren Charlie and Olivia. She also leaves behind her sister Marie Mills (Gary Lerner), brother Harry Satariano, and her longtime companion Ken Fridel. She was preceded in death by her husband John Groetzinger, her parents Grace and Anthony Satariano, and her brother Tony Satariano. Grace was also deeply loved by her many nieces, nephews, and their children, who fondly called her Aunt Grace.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Monarch Hospice nurse Brooke for her compassionate care.

A visitation will be held at 9:00 AM on October 10, 2024, at St. Ann Church in Prairie Village, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to St. Ann Catholic Church or Rockhurst High School in Grace’s memory.
