Hazel Anne Roby

Hazel Roby, 90, of Lees Summit, MO, passed away September 11, 2020. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 17, at 2:00 p.m. at Park Lawn Cemetery, 8251 Hillcrest Rd., Kansas City, MO 64138.
Hazel liked reading the Bible, watching old movies, spending time with family, eating out, cleaning her house (What?) and spending time with Aunt Betty. Mom spent the last few years in a nursing home. She made friends where ever she was at. She really missed her departed brothers and sisters. Mom told me she wanted to see her Mother; I know that is happening right now. Mom thank you for keeping my family together in difficult times for you. You choose your children over everything else. I cant imagine a more devoted Mother, Mom we love you, hope you have fun in heaven.
Hazel is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Harrison Smith, Rebecca Mae (Leader) Smith; brother, Robert Smith; sisters, Eleanor Greer, Pauline Northington, Roberta Howard, Helen Rollins; brother and sister-in-law, Claude and Betty Smith; son, Danny Michael Isom; grandson, Anthony Isom; and infant great granddaughter, Gabrielle Rose Isom. She is survived by her sons, Albert L. Isom, Jr (Andrea), James R. Isom, and Donald D. Roby Jr; daughters, Eleanor M. (Isom) Lane (Bobby) and Rebecca A. (Isom) Sherman (Jim); grandsons, Todd Lee Isom, Jason W. String (Nikki), Joe Sherman (Holly); granddaughters, Teresa Dione (Isom) Penner (Donald), Heidi Lynn (String) Decker (Jason), Jaimie (Isom) Owen (Jeff), Lori A. Brown (Steve), Tara J. (Lane) Greene (Aaron), Rhianda (McAnany) Randolph (Shane), Molly McAnany, and Dana Isom; and twenty-four great grand children and two great great grandchildren.
