Ila Mae Brown

Ila Mae "Billie" Brown, age 95 of Kansas City, MO passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2015. Visitation will be held at 12:30 p.m. at John Knox Presbyterian Kirk on Saturday, September 19th followed by services at 1:30 p.m. Interment at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.Billie was born in Junction City, KS on May 12, 1920 to Maude and Frank Kibbey. She was preceded in death by husband Wayne E. Brown and son Craig E. Brown. She is survived by her children: Lindsey (Steven) Carter, Barry (Meg) Brown, Valerie (Charles) Vogt, and Daughter-in-law Donna (Craig) Brown; 12 Grandchildren and 6 Great-Grandchildren.Billie began her career at TWA in 1941 and retired in 1992 from Village Presbyterian Church as Director of Older Adult Programming.Donations in her memory to John Knox Presbyterian Kirk (11430 Wornall Road, KCMO 64114).
