Inez Rojas

The Lord blessed Inez Rojas and her family with 90 years of life. She was born on April 20, 1924; and went home to be with Jesus, Mother Mary, and other loved ones on September 15, 2014. She was married to George Jackson Snedden for 12 years. Following his death on July 30, 1961, Inez remained a widow raising their children. She was a member of St. Francis Seraph Parish in Kansas City, MO; the same parish that her children grew up in. Her last decades were at the Christ the King Parish in South Kansas City, MO. Her parents, Julian and Amparo Rojas, had 13 children. She leaves behind two brothers, Joseph and Robert; and four sisters, Aurora, Carmen, Delores, and Concepcion. She was happy and proud of what her Blessed Lord gave to her each day. Inez started to work with Knit-Rite/W.E. Isle Co of Kansas City, MO after our father passed away. She retired as purchaser after 40 years of services. A favorite story of encouragement that Inez would give would be when she asked Dr. Springer how she would continue after our father died. He answered her and said for her to have faith. She did, and she did life well. Mark 11:22:"And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have Faith in God." Visitation will be 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Monday, September 22, at Christ the King Church, 8510 Wornall Rd, KCMO; followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30. Interment will be at St. Mary?s Cemetery, Kansas City, MO. Memorial contributions are suggested to any no-kill animal shelter of your choosing. Inez is survived by her four children, Gordon Snedden; Gregory Snedden; Gilbert Snedden and Elizabeth Dunlap; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers; four sisters; her extended family; and her 11 four-legged grand pets.
