Irma J. Bain, a beloved mother, sister, grandmother & great-grandmother, peacefully departed this life on February 4, 2025, at the age of 95, in Independence, Missouri. Born on February 20, 1929, in Knoxville, Missouri, Irma was the cherished daughter of Alfred and Mabel (Kinsey) Barchers, and the oldest of eight children. She spent her formative years enveloped in the love of her family, which would serve as the cornerstone of her life.

Irma's journey was profoundly marked by her dedication to family and unwavering faith. She spent many years in devoted partnership with her husband, Logan Bain, contributing significantly to their pest-control business, where she performed bookkeeping and various administrative tasks. Irma’s support and steadfastness were crucial to the business's success, showcasing her industrious spirit and commitment to her loved ones.

As a quiet and reserved woman, Irma was known for her gentle and quiet demeanor and a heart that overflowed with love for her children and siblings. Throughout her life, she remained deeply rooted in her Christian faith, once a devoted member of the Church of God until health challenges confined her to her home. Irma found solace in her cherished hobbies, enjoying peaceful hours reading books within the comforting embrace of her home—her sanctuary.

Irma is survived by her devoted sons, Ron (Beverly) Bain and Randy (Francy) Bain, her daughter Barbara (Charles) Woodson, and her dear sister Fay Ward. Her legacy continues through her adoring grandchildren, Christina, Brenda, David, and her two great-grandchildren, each of whom carry a piece of her spirit within them.

Irma was predeceased by her loving husband, Logan Bain, her parents, and her siblings—David, Elsie, Vaneta, Sonny, Betty, and Mary Lucille. Their memories will forever entwine with hers, creating a tapestry of love that transcends time.

Her life, a full and rich 95 years, culminated in the serene care of Jackson Creek Assisted Living and Memory Care, where she passed peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of faith, love, and cherished memories that will be forever imprinted in the hearts of her family.
