James 'Chris' Schutte

James "Chris" Schutte, 62, passed away August 21, 2015. A celebration of Life will be held at 6 pm Thursday, August 27th at Muehlebach Funeral Care, 6800 Troost Ave., Kansas City, MO followed by visitation until 7:30pm. James "Chris" Schutte was born July 22, 1953 in Kansas City, MO. He was a graduate of Southwest High School and received his bachelor's degree from Rockhurst University. James worked for over 20 years as Regional Circulation Manager for TV Guide and most recently for Curtis Circulation. He was preceded in death by his father, James Edward Schutte and a brother, Mark Edward Schutte. Survivors include his daughter, Andrea Schutte; his mother, Virginia Stewart; uncles and several step brothers and sisters. The family would like to thank the many friends that supported and were by his side during his illness, especially Marsha Lafler, who cared for him.
