James L. Seck

James L. Seck, 86, Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, passed away on Sunday, February 19th, 2023.

Loving father of Pamela (Perry) Ceriotti, cherished Opa of Kelsey Goff (Nicholas) and Kylie (Ross); dear great-grandfather of Ava Marie; dear brother of Lawrence; dear uncle, great uncle, cousin and friend.

Jim was born November 7, 1936 in Kansas City, Missouri to Leonard G. and Leonora M. Seck. He was a graduate of Rockhurst High School and Rockhurst College. Jim was a veteran of the United States Army and was stationed in Japan. He was a Certified Public Accountant, and was a tax partner at the firm, Troup, Kehoe, Whiteaker and Kent from 1964 to 1975. He was a founding partner of the new firm, Kehoe, Seck and Company, Inc in 1975 and he worked there until his retirement in 2021.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jim’s memory may be made to Rockhurst High School.

Visitation will be at 10am on Friday, February 24th at St. Thomas More Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial following at 11am.
