Jay Michael Franklin

Jay was born December 26, 1965, the son of Jerald and Patricia (Franzel) Franklin, in Fr. Thomas, Kentucky.  Jay attended The University of Kansas and Washburn University where he got his master’s degree in accounting. Jay was the Director of Finance for Sprint for 26 years. He retired in 2020. He was a member of the Mid America Freedom Band of Kansas City and loved to go on cruises and travel the world.  He was an avid reader and had a great love of the outdoors and his pool.

He was preceded in death by his Mother Patricia of Topeka and is survived by his Father Jerald of Overland Park.
