In Loving Memory of Jeanette Stevenson

Jeanette Stevenson 85, of Kansas City, passed away January 4, 2024 surrounded by her family. Jeanette was born February 8, 1938, father Lafayette Jones and mother Bernice Gordon. She was employed by University of Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lafayette Jones and mother Bernice Gordon; husband, Donald Stevenson, Sr.; daughter, Diana Stevenson (Hurt); son, Roger Stevenson; daughters, Carol (Stevenson) Porter, and Stacie Stevenson. She is survived by her son, Donald Stevenson Jr. (Linda), and seven grand children; Dionne Stevenson Mitchell (Orlando), Donald III Stevenson (Najae), Kimberly Stevenson (Weathers), Anthony Jr. (Veirda) Hurt, Antwon (Erlinda) Hurt, Ashleigh Jackson and Alexis (Brett) Gardner; eighteen great grand children, Quinn Weathers, Drake Weathers, Xavier Mitchell, Pamela Stevenson, Grace Stevenson, Donald Stevenson IV and Deion Stevenson, Alanna Hurt, Anthony Hurt III, Malik Hurt, Alyssa Hurt, Dyamond Jackson, Aleigha Jackson, Victor Jackson, Jr., Genevieve Hurt, Ayden Hurt, Aviona Jackson, Brian Hurt, and Autumn Gardner; and one great-great grand children Lauryn Lee.

The family would like to thank the caregivers for providing compassionate care in her final days at Northeast Medical Center in Braselton, Georgia.

A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Muehlebach Funeral Care, 6800 Troost Ave., Kansas City, MO 64131. Interment will take place at Forest Hill & Calvary Cemetery, 6901 Troost Ave., Kansas City, MO 64131, following the Visitation.
