Jerome Timothy Bolin, 48, departed into Gods hands on March 10, 2017. Jerome was born January 24, 1969 in Kansas City, MO, to Jerome S. and Patricia L. (ODonnell) Bolin. He attended St. Elizabeth and St. Thomas More Grade Schools, Rockhurst High School and the University of Missouri-Kansas City. In 1996 Jerome married Kelly (Wineinger) Bolin and together they welcomed daughters Anne Elizabeth in 1997 and Sarah Catherine in 2001.
Jerome was an Eagle Scout in Troop 150 at St. Elizabeth. During college, he was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. Jerome played rugby for the Kansas City Blues Rugby Football Club. He was an active member of St. Elizabeth, serving on multiple committees for both the school and parish. Jerome coached and assisted with his daughters sports teams and served on both the Athletic Committee and School Board. Jerome was also a member of the St. Elizabeth Knights of Columbus council. He worked on the St. Elizabeth Golf Classic and countless other school and parish fundraisers and events. Jerome was a talented sales executive who enjoyed many achievements throughout his career.
Jerome was preceded in death by his mother Patricia L. Bolin. He is survived by his daughters Annie and Sarah Bolin, his Father Jerome S. Bolin, his brothers Michael (Debbie), James (Christina), Patrick, Charles (Cheryl), and Eric (Emily) Bolin, his sister Bridget (Dan) Quinn, and eleven nieces and nephews.
Jerome was devoted to his family. He was full of life and laughter and always had a brilliant smile to share or a big bear hug. He was a smart, kind, passionate soul who will be greatly missed on this earth.
Visitation will be held from 9:30-10:30am Wednesday, March 15th at St. Elizabeth Church, 2 E. 75th St., Kansas City, MO 6411. A rosary will be prayed at 10:30am. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00am. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to St. Elizabeth Church or School.
