Joan Rose Overly

Joan Rose Overly passed away peacefully on February 14, 2016 at the age of 90. She was born on May 30, 1925 to George and Minnie Overly in Kansas City, MO and remained a life-long resident. Although an only child who never married, Joan enjoyed all aspects of living life to its fullest. She dearly loved and was cared for by her "adopted" family of Conrad and Edith Frapasella, and later, John and Patty Frapasella. Joan was an avid Kansas City Royals fan, enjoyed having a glass of wine with her adopted family, and in her later years loved to crochet, do crossword puzzles and listen to Big Band music. A visitation will be held Friday, February 19th from 12 to 1 p.m. followed by a memorial service at Muehlebach Funeral Home, 6800 Troost Ave., KCMO. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
