Joe Simon

Joseph Simon, 92, of Palm Desert, California passed away Sunday, September 4th, 2016. He is survived by Michael, Michaelette, and Jody, his children; Paul, Jason, Lisa, Sloan, Anisa, and Jared; his grandchildren. He was born to John and Rose Simon of Kansas City, MO. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.

Joe retired to Palm Desert in 1995 and was an avid golfer, spending most days for the past 20 years on the course with his friends. Joe will always be remembered for his kindness, sense of humor, and warm personality that made everyone feel loved in his presence. Joe was also very close to his family, often putting their needs before his own.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, September 12th at St. John Francis Regis Parish, 8941 James A Reed Road, Kansas City, MO 64138. A visitation will be held just prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 AM. For those who desire, donations can be made to the Kansas City Pet Project.
