John A. O'Sullivan Jr, 79, of Branson, MO passed away February 9th, 2016. Visitation will be 9:00 am Monday, April 25th followed by Mass at 10:00 am at St. Therese Little Flower Church, 5814 Euclid Ave., Kansas City, MO 64130-3336. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project. John was born April 30, 1936, the son of John A. Sr and Betsy Dameron O'Sullivan, in Kansas City, MO. In 1954, John graduated from De La Salle Military Academy in Kansas City and attended St. Benedict's College in Atchison, KS from 1954-1958, and joined the Army in 1959. John was honorably discharged in 1962. Shortly thereafter, John began his career in the music industry starting with Jenkins Music in Kansas City, and retiring from Yamaha. John enjoyed the traveling and sales and the many friends he meet throughout his career. Traveling was a passion John shared with his wife Joyce, whom he wed on St. Patrick's Day and was married to for 40 years. Along with traveling, John was passionate about golf and football. He enjoyed being on the greens, and spent many great afternoons among friends at Point Royale. John was preceded in death by his parents, his twin brothers, Joe and Tim O'Sullivan, and his wife Joyce. He is survived by his sister, Mary O'Sullivan Kennedy, his step-daughters, Keim Johnson, Victoria Mauer, Toni Khan, and step-son, Mark Adams, his nephew, Randy Burton, and two nieces, Connie O'Sullivan and Dawn O'Sullivan Jenkins, and many grandchildren.The family would like to thank the St. Therese Little Flower Class of 1950, for their assistance with the service arrangements. John was blessed and loved by many good friends and family.
