John B. Lowry

John B. Lowry, a cherished son and devoted father, passed away on January 6, 2025, at the age of 82 in Oak Grove, Missouri. Born on January 27, 1942, in Kansas City, Missouri, John dedicated much of his life to his career as a lineman at Ford, where he showcased his strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.

In addition to his professional endeavors, John honored his country by serving in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. His experience in the military shaped his perspective and instilled in him a deep sense of duty and service that resonated throughout his life.

John was known for his engaging personality, generously giving to those around him. He was an avid collector of many things, reflecting his curiosity and appreciation for the world. His caring nature made him a beloved friend and father, as he always sought to help and uplift others. John's enthusiasm for life was evident in his love for dining out with friends and family, often cherishing those moments spent together. He was deeply devoted to his faith and was a regular presence at church until he was no longer able to attend.

He is survived by his loving son, Andrew Lowry. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph W. Lowry, and his mother, Edna Bradish.

A Visitation will be held on January 17, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Muehlebach Funeral Care, 6800 Troost Avenue, Kansas City, MO 64131. A Prayer Service will follow from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM. The burial will take place at Forest Hill & Calvary Cemetery, 6901 Troost Ave, Kansas City, MO 64131.

John leaves behind a legacy of kindness, service, and devotion that will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His generous spirit and genuine love for others will continue to inspire and warm the hearts of those who carry on his memory.
