John R. Mundy

John R. Mundy, 63, passed away following a brief illness on December 2, 2016. Visitation will be held from 9:30-11am Wednesday, December 7th at St. Peters Church, 701 E. Meyer Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64131. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11am. Private interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to St. Peters Church.
John was born June 1, 1953 in Kansas City, MO to Raymond J. Jr. and Flora Mundy. He was a graduate of Southwest High School and worked as a truck driver for several Kansas City companies. John was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his daughters, Jacquelyn and Lauren Mundy; mother of his children, Debora Orlando; his mother, Flora Mundy; brothers, Daniel Mundy, Donald Mundy and wife Barbara, Michael Mundy; sisters, Diane Billing and husband Jonathon, Nancy Schroeder and husband Larry; several nieces and nephews.
