Joseph L. Brennan

Joseph L. “Joe” Brennan, 82, passed away December 13, 2023 with his three dear friends, Cheryl, Gwen, and Steve, at his side.  Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m, Thursday, December 21^st at the Cure’ of Ars Church, 9401 Mission Road, Leawood, KS followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00.  Interment will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests  contribution to Cure’ of Ars Church.

Joe was born February 3, 1941 in Kansas City, MO. He was a member of the Cure’ of Ars Church.  Joe retired from Hallmark Cards after 38 years of dedicated service, and he loved to spend time with his Yorkie, Henry, visiting with neighbors, and tending to his flowers. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Robert, Francis Paul, Johnny, and Jimmy; a sister, Mary Catherine, and his nephew, David.  He is survived by his sister, Rose Ann. 

Joe was a unique individual – always full of surprises; his final one was to be an organ donor.  A special thank you is extended to his three dear friends; they ensured that he had a quality of life for the final three months of his life.  His family will always have a special place in their hearts for Cheryl, Gwen, and Steve.
