Kaye was born on October 26, 1942 in Plainville, KS to Verle H. Gilbert, Sr., and Velma M. (Forgue). She worked as a Customer Service Representative for Hallmark Cards.
She was preceded in death by her parents. She leaves her son, Tony Clark and two grandchildren, Chris William Clark and McLaine William Clark and a great grandchild, Weston Clark. She also leaves her siblings; Verlene Davenport, Verle Gilbert, Vern Gilbert, Veda Perrin, Vicki Gilbert, Valora Daniels, Valoise Doty, Vernetta Swihart and Varonica Gilbert.
