Kent Clarence Kelley

Kent Clarence Kelley, 69, of Blue Springs, MO, passed away April 12, 2017, at Select Specialty Hospital. Kent was born September 7, 1947, in Kansas City, MO, the third of three children of Clarence M. and Ruby D. Kelley. Along with his parents, Kent was preceded in death by one sister, Julie Kelley. Survivors include his wife, Donna; his daughter, Ruth Noah (Jason); two grandchildren: Katelyn and Zach Noah. He also leaves a sister, Mary Dobbins.
Kent was a graduate of Baker University with a Masters Degree in Business Administration. With a lifelong career as a salesman having worked at Kansas City Life; Paine Webber and Humana. He had a way of making everyone feel like a friend. Even in the years when he was not physically active, he still had a love of watching sports on TV, especially baseball. His quick wit and wry sense of humor were a constant joy to those around him.
Funeral service will be conducted by Father Ron at Saint John Lalande, 801 NW R D Mize Rd. Blue Spring, MO 64015, at 10:30 a.m. on April 25th. Burial will follow at Mount Washington Cemetery, 614 S Brookside Ave, Independence, MO 64053.
