Lawrence M. Baker

Lawrence M. "Larry" Baker, 70, passed away June 18, 2015. Visitation will be held from 9:00-11:00 am Monday, June 22nd at St. Peter?s Parish, , Kansas City, MO followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to St. Peter?s Parish or The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 6811 Shawnee Mission Parkway Suite 202, Cloverleaf Build. 1 Shawnee Mission, KS 66202-4001.

Larry was born January 3, 1945 in Kansas City, MO to John P., Sr. and Catherine M. Baker. He attended St. Peter?s Grade School, and was a 1963 graduate of Rockhurst High School. Larry retired as a supervisor from Honeywell after 30 years and then worked for several years for the Kansas City Royals. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Baker; sons, Eric Baker and wife Amy, Patrick Baker and wife Christy and Matt Baker and wife Claire; beloved grandchildren, Abby, Hannah, Libby, Patrick, Jr., Sabrina and Annie; brothers, John P. Baker, Jr. and wife Judy, Bobby Baker and wife Mary, Steve Baker; a sister, Linda Williams and husband Bob, and several nieces and nephews. Larry loved his grandchildren, the Kansas City Royals and spending time with Dorothy and friends at the casino.
