Lillie E. 'Betty' Lindsey

Lillie Elizabeth Brown Lindsey, 96, passed away on April 23, at Kingswood Retirement Complex Wellness Center after a lengthy illness. She was born April 1, 1920, in NYC. At age 7, she, her mother, twin brothers and grandparents moved to KC. She was known as Betty Brown to her friends. She graduated from Central High School in 1937. In 1939 she married the love of her life, Kirk Wilson Lindsey, and they became parents to two children - Laura Kay Lindsey and Donald Kirk Lindsey. She is preceded in death by her husband and daughter, her mother Teresa Brown, and her twin brothers William & Weldon Brown.
