Loretta Jo 'Bae' Kratofil

Loretta Jo "Bae" Kratofil, 68, passed away unexpectedly August 24, 2014. The rosary will be prayed at 5:00 pm, Wednesday, August 27th at St. Thomas More Church, 11822 Holmes Rd, Kansas City, MO. Visitation will follow the rosary until 9:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00am Thursday at St. Thomas More Church. The family suggests memorial contributions to Little Sisters of the Poor.

Loretta was born March 9, 1946 in Kansas City, MO to Ben and Jennie Malle. She was a graduate of Bishop Hogan High School. Loretta worked outside the home and was enjoying retirement. Her true passion was spending time with her loving husband, children and grandchildren. She was a loving person, very outgoing and a friend to all. Loretta was always on the move either entertaining friends at home or enjoying time with her Bishop Hogan school girls, GNO girls, and the BNL girls.

Loretta was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Phil Kratofil; children, Frank Kratofil and wife Maria, Angela Ayala and husband Adolfo; grandchildren, Katelyne, Anthony and Frankie Kratofil, and Grace Marie Ayala; her sister, Anita Rogers and husband Charlie as well as several nieces and nephews.
