Lucia Giancerelli Barker, age 97, of Camdenton, MO passed away on Tuesday, September 5th 2017.
Lucia was born in Kansas City, MO to James and Rose (Stasi) Giancerelli on September 20th 1919. She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis, her parents and 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Lucia was a homemaker and is survived by her children; James Barker and wife Paula, Carolyn Lucas and husband Larry, Judy Heide and husband Bert, John Barker and wife Janet. Lucia is also survived by her 11 grandchildren; Michael James Barker, John Robert Barker, Jennifer Allen, Andrew Barker, Julie Erickson, Scott Lucas, Christopher Jurgeson, David Jurgeson, Kathy Hendrix, Ryan Barker, and Adam Barker and 17 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at 9 a.m. Friday, September 8th at Our Lady of Lourdes, 8812 E. Gregory Blvd., Raytown, MO 64133. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. The burial will take place at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Kansas City, MO. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to St. Judes Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
