Luis H. Grumbine

October 17, 1937 — January 21, 2016

Luis (Louie) passed away January 21st, 2016 from complications of Diabetes.
Louie was born, the first child of Levi and Josephine Grumbine, October 17th, 1937 in Norman, Oklahoma. His family then settled in the Jamesport, Mo area where he attended Jamesport High School. He was named the "Man after every woman's heart."
After graduating from Jamesport High, he proudly served in the U.S. Navy. He then settled in Kansas City where he worked and retired from Hallmark Cards after 35 years.
He met his wife Karen Kay Schade and they had one child, a daughter, before her passing of cancer in 1965.
He enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle, playing poker and was a black belt in Judo. He leaves behind his daughter, Cathy, son-in-law Kevin, their 3 children, Amanda, Sean, Paige and "like a son to him" Bobby Frankenfield and wife Kristie. Siblings Grant Grumbine and wife Kay, Jolita Williams and husband Wilke, Levita Shea and husband Don as well as many nieces and nephews, Christina, Mitchell, Steven, Patty, Anginette, Jenifer and other relatives in Missouri, Oklahoma, New Mexico, California and Texas.
He is proceeded in death by wife Karen, parents Levi and Josephine, nephew Troy and unborn grandson Grant Edward. Please say a prayer for Louie and his family and hope that he has finally found peace.
