Mancel D. Phillips

Mancel Phillips, 97, of Kansas City, MO passed away July 19th, 2017. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 11:30 am followed by a service at 11:30 am Monday, July 24th, at Muehlebach Funeral Home, 6800 Troost Ave. Burial will be at Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
Mancel was born Nov. 11, 1919, in High Point, MO to Jewell & Mable Phillips. He worked as a manager of the, now historic, Muehlbach & Sons Grocery Store. He was a devout Christian and proud veteran, serving his Country in WWII. He was preceded in death by, his parents, his son, Terry Phillips and a sister, Elizabeth Finley. He is survived by his daughter, Yvonne Krstolic, son, Craig Shelley, daughter, Marsha Addison, sister, Bryl Rebstock, as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and extended family.
