Marcia Wiley

Marcia M. Wiley, 77, of Kansas City, MO, passed away March 16, 2015 surrounded by her family and care givers. Visitation will be Friday, March 20th 2015 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church, 8941 James A. Reed Rd., Kansas City, MO 64138. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Villa St. Francis, 16600 W 126th St., Olathe, KS 66062.

Marcia was the daughter of Vincent and Tascile (Fuson) Mercier. She was born on April 5, 1937 in Kansas City, MO, as the third of seven children. She was a lifetime Kansas City area resident. Marcia graduated from Bishop Hogan High school and went to work for AT&T. She married David Wiley on April 4th, 1959 and devoted her life to raising her family. Marcia was wonderful Mother whose passion was her family. Most knew her by her easy and beautiful smile.

She was preceded in death by her husband David. She is survived by her sister Sharon Mercier; daughter Susan Brown and husband Steve, daughter Kathy Wiley; son, Mark Wiley and wife Tracey. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren; Drew Brown and wife Jennifer; Tom Dalton, Ryan Hernandez, Rachel Uptergrove and husband Garet; David Kojeski, James Wiley, and Lolly Wiley as well as her two great-grandchildren, Blaine Uptergrove and Lily Brown, her sisters?in-law Mary Roland and husband Howard; Peggy Mercier, along with many nephews, nieces and their families.
