Margaret Ann “Peggy” Goth, 80, passed away October 3, 2022. Peggy was born March 24, 1942 in Kansas City, MO to Arnold J. Haake, Sr. and Margaret V. (Haugh) Haake. She was a 1959 graduate of Loretta Academy. Peggy worked as the Librarian for Our Lady of Peace School for 24 years retiring in 2004.

Peggy was a long-time active member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, coordinating funeral dinners and volunteering at the Church and School. She loved to read, knit and watch her favorite television shows, Young & the Restless, NCIS, Blue Bloods and Royals & Chiefs games. Peggy and her husband, Linus, enjoyed traveling, going to shows at Starlight, shopping and attending their children and grandchildren’s activities together.

Peggy was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Linus E. Goth, Jr. in April 2022 and her parents. She is survived by her children, Susan L. Melenson (Terry), Kenneth E. Goth (Marsha) and Kristine G. Pace (Frank); brother, Arnold Haake, Jr.; sisters, Kathleen Walters and Patricia Herr; four grandchildren, Eric, Kelsie (Jonathan), Michael and Charlie. Peggy and Linus are now reunited.

The rosary will be prayed at 9:30am, Saturday, October 8th at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 4101 E. 105th Terr, Kansas City, MO followed by visitation and Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church or The American Heart Association.
