Marshall Lee Tezon

Marshall Lee Tezon, 70, of Kansas City, MO passed away July 13, 2015. A graveside service will be 10:00 am Saturday, July 18th at Calvary Cemetery, 6901 Troost Ave., Kansas City, MO 64131. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Wayside Waifs, 3901 Martha Truman Rd, Kansas City, MO 64137.
Marshall was born November 19, 1944 to John and Delphine Tezon. He attended school in the Center School District and went on to become a graphic artist. He used his talent in the publishing business and was co-publisher of The Caldwell County News in Hamilton with his wife until their retirement and sale of the paper in 2013. He had a love for art, gardening and had a special passion for animal rescue.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and an infant brother. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Anne Tezon, Stepson Michael Chadwick and wife Kristen, grandson, Cooper Tezon, sisters; Sylvia Tezon of Kansas City, MO and Rosemary Russell of Leawood, KS, brother, John Tezon and wife Robin of Kansas City, MO, Brothers-in-law; Jim McAbee and wife Deb of Port Arthur, TX and Rick McAbee and wife Ann of Orange, TX, stepmother, Rosie Tezon of Kansas City, MO, nieces; Michelle Friel of Florida, Mekayla Tezon and Aimee Tezon, both of Kansas City, MO and nephews; John III and Jesse Tezon of Kansas City, MO.
