Martha L. Bockes

Martha L. Gahagan Bockes, 82, passed away December 24, 2014. Visitation will be held from 9:00-10:00 am, December 29th at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 4101 E. 105th Terrace, Kansas City, MO followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am. Entombment will be at Resurrection Cemetery, Lenexa, KS. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to St. Catherine of Siena Church or the Alzheimer?s Association.

Martha was born October 24 1932 in Denison, TX to John and Cora Sternadel. She worked for House of Lloyds for 25 years before retiring. Martha was preceded in death by brothers, Bob and Raymond; a sister, Loraine. She is survived by her husband, Charlie Bockes; sons, Bob Gahagan and wife Patti, Chris Gahagan and wife Courtney; grandchildren, Kristina, Kara, Samantha, Grant, Morgan and Miranda; great grandsons, Gage and Owen; a brother, John C. Sternadel.
