Mary Christine See

Mary (Imbs) See, 87, of Kansas City, MO passed away July 18, 2014. Visitation will be 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 22 at St. Peter?s Church, 6415 Holmes Rd, Kansas City, MO; followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. A private inurnment will be at Leavenworth National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Grace Hospice, 9233 Ward Parkway #201, Kansas City, MO 64114.

Mary was born April 30, 1927, the daughter of Thomas T. and Marion (Conway) Imbs, in St. Louis, MO. She married John J. See on January 13, 1962. She was an active member at St. Peter?s Parish for 40 years and Christ the King Parish for 15 years. Mary?s devotion to helping people has been consistent throughout her lifetime. In both parishes, she served on the Altar Society and volunteering for luncheons at the church. At Christ the King Parish, Mary held active rolls in the Meals on Wheel program, specifically delivering meals to those in need. She also enjoyed playing bridge. At one time, Mary was active in five bridge clubs in Kansas City.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, John. She is survived by her three children, daughter, Christine Asbury and husband Bruce; son, Mark See and wife Amy; son, Michael See; eight grandchildren, Cary Lanzoni, Teresa Arterburn, Tiffany Asbury, Erica Harris, Jerome Asbury, Emma See, Aiden See and Amanda See.
