Mary Teresa Flores

Mary Teresa Flores, 75, passed away January 1, 2017 after a long battle with COPD. A visitation will be held Thursday, January 5, from 10 to 11 a.m. followed by a prayer service at 11 a.m. at Muehlebach Funeral Home, 6800 Troost Ave., Kansas City, MO. Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery. The family suggests contributions be made to JobOne, 1085 S. Yuma Ave., Independence, MO, 64056.

Teresa was born November 18, 1941 in Los Angeles, CA. She was raised by her mother, Jennie (Flores) Davenport. She was a generous and caring mother and a devoted wife. She served as a Devoted Energetic Active Responsive Spouses (D.E.A.R.S.) of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, Lodge #2088, in which her sons are members.

Teresa was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Flores. She is survived by her sons; Frank Flores (Tammy), Darrin Flores, and Daniel Flores, daughter, Michele Kammerer (Tom), grandsons, Nicholas and Andrew Kammerer, a sister, Diane Wegener, and a brother, John Madrid.
