Nancy 'Susan' Mitchell Hindson

Nancy Susan Mitchell Hindson, born March 12, 1946 to Edward J. and Nancy Mitchell in Kansas City, MO, passed away on March 17, 2022. Being half Irish, she was true to her roots, leaving us on St. Patricks Day. Susan attended St. Elizabeth Catholic Church as a child and St. Teresa Academy and Notre Dame de Sion for high school, again being true to her religious roots which were very important to her, spending the last few years volunteering for St. James Anglican Catholic Church. Her first marriage was to E.L. Ruble and they welcomed a daughter in 1967, Christine Margaret Ruble. She went on to have a successful career in the real estate mortgage field. Later in life she wed Robert A. Hindson, living in K.C., sunny Scottsdale AZ and finally back to K.C. She is survived by husband Robert A Hindson, daughter Christine Margaret Meyer (Sean) and two grandchildren, Andrew and Abby Wenz. The best big sister also leaves siblings Margaret Ann Roberson (Jac), Edward J. Mitchell (Samhui) and Ellen Schloesser (Leonard).
In lieu of flowers, Susan's family suggests making a memorial contribution to an animal shelter or animal rescue facility of your choice.
