Norma M Kreeger

Norma M. Kreeger, age 89, a former resident of Kansas City, Missouri and more recently of Ft. Scott, Kansas, died early Tuesday, July 26, 2016, at the Ft. Scott Medicalodge. She was born May 3, 1927, in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Harry Dewey Norman and Edna Caroline Todd Norman. She first married Clarence Edward Miller on June 12, 1943. He preceded her in death on August 5, 1985. She later married Elmer Lee Kreeger in September of 1991. He died February 23, 1995. Norma had worked as a labor and delivery nurse at St. Lukes Hospital. She was a member of the V.F.W. Post #302 Ladies Auxiliary, the Fifth District V.F.W. Auxiliary of Lees Summit and the Military Order of Cooties Pup Tent #10. Norma had served as President of all three organizations. She was also a member of the Ladies Fifth District Mortuary Team. After moving to Ft. Scott, she was a member of the V.F.W. Post #1165 Ladies Auxiliary. While in Kansas City, she attended the Lees Summit Catholic Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Suzanne Bronson, of Ft. Scott, Rosemary Kilgore and husband, Ron, of Kansas City, Missouri and Donna Sheridan and husband, Larry, of Uniontown, Kansas; five grandchildren, Christy Pritchett and husband, Danny, of Uniontown, Weston Kilgore, of Lees Summit, Jeff Bronson and wife, Kayla, of Ft. Scott, Brandy Ham, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma and Derek Kilgore and wife, Amanda, of Raymore, Missouri; eleven great-grandchildren and numerous great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Jeff Bronson.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday at the Cheney Witt Chapel, 201 S. Main, Ft. Scott. A second visitation will be held from 10 to 11 A.M. Saturday at the Muehlebach Funeral Home, 6800 Troost Ave., Kansas City, Missouri. Graveside services will be held at 11:30 A.M. Saturday at the Floral Hills Cemetery in Kansas City, Missouri.
