Overland Park, Kansas. Patrick E. Laughlin, 87 died after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother David Laughlin, and two sons, Michael Patrick Laughlin and Timothy Tomas Laughlin. He is survived by daughter, Kelly Patricia Laughlin, sisters Julie Effertz and Alice Kitchen, his former wife Patricia Leathers and many nieces and nephews. He was active in the Young Democrats, worked in real estate, securities and numerous business ventures. He was an avid outdoorsman, fisherman, hunter, and an enthusiastic skier and cyclist.
Virtual memorial service will be held for family members and his body is cremated. He lived an active life and died peacefully.
